		<description>I&#039;m not sure what you are reading into the Psalm. But there are two things to consider. First, the Psalm is about David. He is the annointed king. However, the Bible, including the Old Testament, is all about Jesus. In some of the Psalms, such as Psalm 2, this is much more evident than in other places.
Whenever we read any portion of scripture, the first question to ask to ensure a proper interpretation is &quot;What does this say about the gospel.&quot; All the bible is about salvation through Christ. Some of it is historical background, some is praise because of his salvation, some is prophetic looking forward to his coming.
But it is all about Jesus. This psalm is an obvious example.</description>
